Ohio University School of Visual Communications
2024 - 2025
Adobe Illustrator | Adobe Photoshop | Adobe InDesign
These pieces represent a range of projects I completed during my time in the Ohio University School of Visual Communication, many of which involved working with real clients or designing within existing brand guidelines. These experiences taught me how to adapt my creative process to meet specific client needs while maintaining consistency with established visual identities.
Client
Ohio University Music Industry Summit
Date
August 2024
For this project, I was tasked with developing a fresh and engaging rebrand for the upcoming Music Industry Summit, something eye-catching and unique, yet not too on the nose. I was provided with a range of assets to build upon and chose a design centered around flowing lines, which I felt effectively conveyed the energy and rhythm of sound waves while maintaining a clean look.

February 2025
This project was created for the Baileys Trail System at the Chauncey-Dover Park Trailhead, where I was responsible for redesigning the trailhead kiosk and updating the trail map. My goal was to maintain a fun and uplifting tone throughout the visuals while ensuring that all key information was presented clearly and concisely for visitors.

This project was for the first-ever OOREC event, hosted by ORCA (The Outdoor Recreation Council of Appalachia) and the Baileys Trail System. I was responsible for reimagining the event branding and designing a series of promotional materials. As part of a partner project, my primary focus was on developing the branding, while my partner handled most of the merchandise design. However, I also contributed a few merchandise pieces to support the project.

Client
Ohio University Press
Date
October 2024
For this project our client was the Ohio University Press, and I was tasked with designing cover concepts for one fiction and one non-fiction book. For the fiction, the goal was to develop three unique design approaches, while for the non-fiction we were required to use a provided illustration.

Client
Destination Toledo
Date
February 2024
For this project, our client was Destination Toledo, and I was responsible for designing both magazine covers and spreads. The assignment involved creating two on-brand covers and two off-brand covers, along with one on-brand and one off-brand spread. While the off-brand designs were meant to depart from the existing branding, we were encouraged to maintain the overall feel and essence of Destination Toledo, while bringing a fresh and creative perspective to the designs.
